USA Today has reported that Stephen Curry re-signed with the Golden State Warriors for another five years.

This, though news, isn't surprising. Curry has become a household name, and played an integral part in bringing the team rings two years in a row.

What is surprising, however, is that this contract is not like any other deal any other NBA player has ever received. Literally.

In the sports version of showing off your stacks on Instagram, Jeff Austin, the agent for The Warriors point guard, announced that Curry has signed a $201 million contract.

That's a lot of money. Like how much it costs to make a Hollywood blockbuster money, like how much Facebook'll pay for a hot new start-up money.

And it's also highest pay of any player in all of NBA history money.

Curry previously had been signed to a four-year, $44 million contract. With this new contract, Curry will earn almost as much as he made in four years in just one.

Curry, 29, is the first player to net a deal worth more than $200 million.

This is only the most recent of Curry's accomplishments. Prior to this, he was best known for being a two-time NBA champion before the age of 30, and two-time MVP averaging 25.3 points, 6.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds in the recent season.

Twitters users were quick to break down Curry's new contract:

Some suggested that Curry will now earn an outrageous amount.

LeBron James, however, tweeted to Curry's defense.

Kudos to LeBron for displaying admirable sportsmanship and congratulations to Curry for the new deal!
