Taking it back to the mid-1990’s, we’ve got “Buddah Lovaz” by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

This Cleveland group will undoubtedly appear again later on the list, though this track is an appropriate starting point.

“Keep rollin’, smokin’ and chokin’…”

This 1999 track would fit nicely on any 420 playlist, and the title explains it all.

Sure, Dr. Dre references non-leafy drugs like ecstasy in the song, but it nonetheless still fits. Plus, the album cover has a weed leaf on it, so that helps.

“C’mon, let’s get high…”

Lil Wayne was in his bag while recording this song, which is all about bossing up and chiefin’ on your blunt like nobody’s business.

“I’m a blunt-blowin’, Polo-drawers-showin…”

While blunts have that extra kick, Berner showed joints some love back in 2014. As the song’s title suggests, this track is about raising your J to the air and basking in weed’s glory.

“Smoke ’til I’m lifeless…”

Jhené Aiko fans know that this L.A. native smokes weed, and “Sativa” is a track about her whimsically paying tribute to cannabis Sativa, which has a reputation for inspiring creativity and upliftment.

This aptly named Wiz Khalifa track is all about paying homage to the sensation of being extremely high, something many people can expect to feel this 420.

While this 1993 song isn’t explicitly about marijuana, it’s all about the same chill, laidback vibes that 420 encapsulates. Resultingly, it’s a bump-worthy jam for the stoner holiday.

Similarly, this West Coast classic by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg is a staple track among many smoke sessions. From the beat to its cultural significance, this anthem oozes stoner vibes (in a good way).

Next up, we have this Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song about paying tribute to connects or those who make it possible for others to enjoy cannabis.

Luniz also touched on weed procurement in “I Got 5 On It.”

“Day ‘N’ Nite” is perhaps more appropriate for those feeling a little more introverted. This timeless jam centers on the joys of being high, alone, and full of imagination.

With this catchy track, Mila J, Jhené Aiko’s sister, delivers similarly chill, laid-back vibes.

Smoking with friends is cool and all, but there’s a certain magic within relaxing and enjoying your high alone.

Wiz Khalifa transformed Mac Demarco’s “Chamber of Reflection” into a stoner anthem with his beloved 2014 remix, “Smoke Chambers.”

This Bizzy Bone song, featured on Next Friday, is all about paying tribute to bud.

While Friday only comes around once a week, any day can be Fried Day.

Da Brat shook the table with her Funkdafied album, and there’s even a track dedicated to celebrating marijuana.

“Puffin on blunts and comin’ up with some mo’ of that funky stuff…”

Kid Cudi also showed his appreciation for cannabis with this 2010 track.

While this musician hasn’t shied away from referencing his stoner antics in other songs, marijuana is firmly at the core of this aptly named song.

“Pretty green bud, all in my blunt / Ooh, I need it…”

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are back on the list for this anthem, comparing smoking weed with physical activity.

“Kush ups, ’bout to roll the whole book up…”

Rihanna, a celebrity who’s shared her love of weed before, shouted out this beautiful plant on “James Joint.”

The song is a play on musician James Blunt’s name for context.

“I’d rather be smoking weed whenever we breathe…”

In addition to gushing about weed, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony made it clear that they’re only about the green.

Whether they’re shunning tobacco, harder drugs, or both, the message is clear: bud smokers only!

In reference to Khalifa Kush, his very own strain of weed, Wiz Khalifa unveiled “KK” on his Blacc Hollywood album.

Shelley FKA DRAM and Lil Yachty teamed up for this upbeat song back in 2016.

As one can infer, they aren’t talking about vegetables when they bring up “broccoli.”

This Mac & Devin Go to High School track glamorizes the act of sexily exhaling smoke from your mouth and re-inhaling into your nose (i.e., “French inhaling”).

This 2020 track encapsulates the message that many people will have this 420: “I’m tryna smoke.”

“I wish that I was high…”

In 2010, Dr. Dre jumped back into the game and unveiled “Kush,” which would comfortably complement any 420 playlist.

Of course, this Young Thug song had to be on the list somewhere.

While this track isn’t necessarily about laid-back vibes, it’s nonetheless centered on embracing the “stoner” label, so we’re here for it!
