Summer Walker has provided us with some great breakup songs. Unfortunately, most are from experience. The singer took to her Instagram and announced her split from her boyfriend, Larry, also known by his moniker, LVRD Pharoh. Walker is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child. This will be her second, as she shares her oldest daughter, “Bubbles,” with her ex-boyfriend, super producer London on da Track.

Walker and London began their relationship while working on her debut hit album, Over It. After their breakup, she revealed he was a serial cheater and an absentee father. The content of their relationship was shared on Walker’s latest album, Still Over It.

Shortly after she and London split, Walker went public with her and Larry’s relationship. The 26-year-old seemed in love and was very vocal about the void that the rap artist filled in her life and her daughter’s. Hip-Hop Vibe.com shared a now-deleted post where Walker claimed that “Ciara’s prayer works” regarding their relationship.

Things looked permanent when Walker posted a reel of the couple showing off new face tattoos of each other’s names.

She sweetly captioned the reel, “Bestfriend.”

A couple of months later, Walker showed off a full baby bump while announcing the couple’s first child.

As the couple was heading into almost a year and a half of dating, fans started to speculate there was trouble in paradise because of Larry’s absence from Walker’s social media.

The songstress confirmed the rumors and broke the news of their split on her Instagram Story.

@RapAlert shared a tweet with the story after she announced the breakup.

In the caption alongside a family portrait, Walker explained the breakup and discussed still having love for Larry.

“People been trying to be in my business bad lately, idk why y’all need updates on my life lol like go touch grass but I’ve decided to be single,” she wrote. “It’s no hard feelings, Larry is an amazing father there’s just certain things I won’t tolerate, but we’re super duper happy to have all our children & we just living life. he be at every swim class every photoshoot every dr appointment and every baby event.”

Bossip captured more words from Walker, who also shared how she felt about women staying in relationships for the “image.”

“Also I don’t have to name any names b/c you see it everyday in the media, all these celebrity women who are n ‘marriages’ or in long term relationships with children be getting dogged out every week,” she wrote. “Every month they complaining about how they getting cheated on, beat on, children being had on them, they lonely etc. but they rather stay for the IMAGE just to say they have a man or a ring or just to keep receiving apology birkins & cars. The only difference between me, them, & the rest of y’all is I prefer my peace n happiness so I walk away.”

Walker then got a little defensive for people questioning her “baby mama” role.

“Relax with all that wow she’s still not married. I could’ve been married to either of my child’s fathers, it’s just certain things I won’t tolerate but NOTHING was a mistake I wanted all my children by the age of 25 on PURPOSE & did that,” she said. “they’re perfect, beautiful & make me happier than I could ever be. But 95% of y’all in the same predicament or worse so save it.”
