Netflix documentary Tiger King has become one of Netflix's most buzzed about series. With the most strikingly on-brand input to hit the internet, O.J. Simpson has weighed in on the documentary.

Many fans of the series, inundated with eccentric characters, compelling storytelling and murder plots, are just as interested in what happened to animal activist Carole Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis, as they are in the alleged murder-for-hire scheme that got the titular star Joe Exotic locked up for 22 years.

In a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Simpson, once acquitted of the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, said he is convinced that Baskin was involved in the disappearance of her former husband. He started off by saying people have been urging him to watch the documentary before sharing what he believes went down with Baskin and Lewis.

"There's not a shred of doubt in my mind that that lady's husband is tiger sashimi right now," Simpson said. "I'm just saying."

Simpson, who's been nicknamed "The Juice," said he finally got around to watching the popular series and now believes that Baskin fed her former husband to the animals she has been campaigning to save for years.

“Listen, I’ve had so many people on my case, asking me to watch some show called, ‘Tiger King.’ Yesterday, I watched the show, and, oh my God, is America in this bad of a shape?”

Baskin has vehemently denied having any involvement in Lewis’ disappearance. In a statement released March 31 on the Big Cat Rescue site, she said the documentary was supposed to be about exposing the abuse and criminality of the big cat world but that she was frustrated to see that it had become about her personal life.

“There are not words for how disappointing it is to see that the series not only does not do any of that, but has had the sole goal of being as salacious and sensational as possible to draw viewers," the 58-year-old said. "As part of that, it has a segment devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don in 1997."

"The series presents this without any regard for the truth or in most cases even giving me an opportunity before publication to rebut the absurd claims," she added. "They did not care about truth. The unsavory lies are better for getting viewers."

Simpson made the video following a round of golf at an open course, per the New York Post. The former NFL star, who has infamously refused to identify as Black, was disturbed by watching “white people” in the documentary engage with exotic animals.

“About six episodes in and I couldn’t believe what I was watching — white people! What’s with you and wild animals? Leave them animals alone.”

Simpson has been lackadaisical in safeguarding against COVID-19, often ignoring advice by the CDC to restrict going out in public places. But he is seen sporting a pair of medical gloves in the video.

When the coronavirus first became a national concern, the Juice posted a video joking about the methods he’s using to stay safe from the outbreak. The 72-year-old can be seen in the clip on a golf course in a visor and sweater, spraying down what appears to be less than $100 in cash and boasting about his golf winnings.

“Well, you know, they’re canceling all these crowds for games and they tell people not to shake hands and to disinfect surfaces — well this is what I won at the golf course today,” Simpson said. “So how do I know how many hands have touched this money?"

Simpson has been adamant since the pandemic took hold about spending his time playing golf despite many social distancing guidelines. On March 18, he tweeted a video in which he pleaded with country clubs not to close golf courses because of their importance to older men like him.

He said if all the golf courses are closed due to the virus, he’ll need mental health assistance because he’s “going to go crazy.”
