Some are even itching for Abrams to run again for governor in 2022.

Even Republican officials in the state lauded Abrams and others for their work in bringing out more than 100,000 voters who did not vote in the Nov. 3 election.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Georgia voting system implementation manager Gabriel Sterling ripped his own party for their actions during the election.

“While Republicans were busy attacking the governor and my boss, the Democrats were out there knocking on doors and getting people to turn out to vote,” Sterling said.
