ABC has canceled the Shondaland legal drama, For the People, after two seasons.

One of its stars, Ben Rappaport, confirmed the news on social media.

The show was never a ratings breakout, despite being renewed for a second season last year and premiering to good reviews.

This leaves Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder and Station 19 as the remaining Shondaland dramas on ABC. Shonda Rhimes departed ABC last year for a mega deal at Netflix.

Set in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (a.k.a. “The Mother Court”), the series follows six talented young lawyers working on opposite sides of the law and handling the most high-profile and high-stakes federal cases in the country. These young lawyers will be put to the test both personally and professionally as their lives intersect in and out of America’s most prestigious trial court.

Britt Robertson, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Regé-Jean Page, Anna Deavere Smith, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Hope Davis, Susannah Flood, Rappaport, Wesam Keesh, Charles Michael Davis and Ben Shenkman star.

The series was created by Paul William Davies and executive produced by Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Tom Verica.

The show will wrap its run on May 16.
