The Spurs versus Raptors game on Thursday was full of tension amid the return of player Kawhi Leonard.

The game marked the first time Leonard, who was traded to the Raptors in July after playing for the Spurs for several years, played against his old team.

During the game, Kim Leonard, the mother of the Toronto Raptors small forward, blasted a heckler for his obnoxious outburst. According to Yahoo Sports, fans booed every time the former San Antonio player had the ball in his hands, but one particular person caught mama Leonard's wrath.

The news publication retweeted a video shared by a fan who caught a close-up shot of the interaction. The video shows Leonard's mother yelling back at a spectator arguing with her.

"A**hole, shut up," she yelled before standing up and pointing her finger to further address the man.

Leonard's trade became controversial when the 27-year-old was traded for DeMar DeRozan within a year left on his contract after a mysterious quad injury, SB Nation reports.

The team's coach Greg Popovich responded to the crowd's apparent distaste for the Los Angeles native.

"I felt badly about it," the coach stated to ESPN. "Kawhi's a high-character guy. We all make decisions in our lives, what we're going to do with our futures, and he has that same right as any of us. So, I felt badly in all honesty."

The Raptors lost to the Spurs 107 to 125.
