Rapper and mogul Diddy faced a shocking loss after the recent death of model and actress Kim Porter.

Porter, who was 47 years old, was found dead in her Toluca Lake home on November 15. Reports state that she was suffering from flu-like symptoms and possible pneumonia. Diddy and Porter dated for 13 years and shared three children.

Cyndi Berger, Diddy’s publicist, shared a public statement on behalf of the family shortly after the news of Porter’s death broke.

"Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time," she said.

The artist broke his silence yesterday when he shared a video featuring himself and Porter with a heartfelt message on Instagram.

Porter is survived by her four children: Quincy Brown, Christian Combs and twins girls Jessie and D’Lila Cobs.

Her son Quincy posted a picture of his mother and sisters on his Instagram page yesterday with the caption opening stating, “I am broken.”

In an interview with CNN’s Headline News, Kim Porter’s grandmother discussed her conversation with Diddy following the news of her death.

“He said, ‘My baby is gone,’ and ‘I’ll call you tomorrow,'” she recalled.
