Porter, who was 47 years old, was found dead in her Toluca Lake home on November 15. Reports state that she was suffering from flu-like symptoms and possible pneumonia. Diddy and Porter dated for 13 years and shared three children.
Cyndi Berger, Diddy’s publicist, shared a public statement on behalf of the family shortly after the news of Porter’s death broke.
"Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time," she said.
The artist broke his silence yesterday when he shared a video featuring himself and Porter with a heartfelt message on Instagram.
“For the last three days, I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much,” he wrote.
“Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates,” the star continued. “WE WERE SOME OTHER S**T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”

R&B singer Al B. Sure, who also shared a son with Porter, posted a photo of him and the late Porter with the hashtag #ForeverMyLady. Sure wrote Jodeci’s hit song “Forever My Lady,” which was dedicated to Porter, while the model was pregnant.
