Disney XD is welcoming the king of Wakanda into its animated lineup with Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest.

The show’s first trailer, as seen below, will put T’Challa in the world of Disney XD’s Avengers Assemble universe, according to Entertainment Weekly. Together with his super-smart sister, Shuri, T’Challa will have to battle the Shadow Council who wants a piece of Wakanda and balance his duties to the crown and kingdom with his responsibilities to the Avengers and the world.

T’Challa is voiced by James Mathis III, who has also voiced T’Challa in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Black Panther – Trouble in Wakanda, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, Avengers Assemble, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and The Marvel Experience.

Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest will premiere September 23 at 9/8 CT on Disney XD.
