Many of us have been growing out our hair since quarantines started around the world due to the coronavirus pandemic. But actor Michael B. Jordan joked that he plans to take it a bit further after falling in love with the new growth over his top lip.

During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Just Mercy star hilariously explained his new relationship with his mustache.

"I never had time to actually sit in one place and grow my facial hair where I didn't have to get it groomed, or manicured, or anything like that. So, during quarantine, I just wanted to see how much hair I could actually grow," Jordan said.

Naturally, it also has a nickname.

"His name is Murphy. We call him Murph for short. Got an OnlyFans coming soon — eating fruit, all types of crazy stuff, it's going to get wild," he added.

Many online noted Jordan's bushy 'stache in the photoshoot that done after he was named PEOPLE magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive."

Jordan told Kimmel he had always wanted to grow a big mustache but never had the time to, until now.

As they bantered, Kimmel mused that the mustache could make $250,000 on OnlyFans, but Jordan then said he was somewhat serious.

He legitimately wanted to start the OnlyFans and use the proceeds to help struggling barbers.

"I'm actually going to start one, but like all the proceeds I want to go towards a barber school because during the quarantine, you know, there's been so many businesses and schools that shut down," Jordan told Kimmel.

Dozens of huge celebrities, including Chris Brown, have taken the leap and joined OnlyFans as a way to make money straight from fans while posting a variety of content.

While much of the media focus on the site has been centered on sex workers who use it, there are thousands of people, like Cardi B, who use it for non-sexual purposes.

Jordan's idea to leverage his mustache into funding for struggling barbers is part of many other efforts the actor has taken to use his massive fame for good.

His production company has been one of the first to adopt inclusion riders that demand diversity in casts and crews while also using a sneaker raffle to raise funds for GirlTrek, the largest public health nonprofit for Black women and girls in the United States.
