In todays installation of "how many ways can we continue to minimize smart black women," Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly dismissed a compelling speech given by Representative Maxine Waters saying, "I couldn't hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig."

Yep, you read that correctly, while watching a clip of Maxine Waters poignantly outlining the need to resist the dangerous Trump agenda, O'Reilly gave a series of exaggerated facial expressions and, noticeably perturbed by the congresswoman's speech, insulted her hairstyle. Are we surprised by O'Reilly's willingness to go low? Of course not.

They stay mad. It's no secret that Fox News' has a political agenda to undermine all things non-cis white male. The compulsion to diminish accomplished, intelligent, outspoken black women is real. We saw how they came for Michelle Obama. We witnessed the response when Beyoncé dared to be black at the Super Bowl.

We see you, Bill. We all see you.
