The Suits spinoff starring Gina Torres has finally been given an official title, Second City.

The series will focus on Torres’ character Jessica Pearson as she enters the fray of Chicago politics. Torres will also serve as an executive producer. Aaron Korsh, who created Suits and serves as its executive producer, will also work as Second City‘s showrunner.

When the spinoff was announced in March, Chris McCumber, president of entertainment networks at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, said of Torres’ character, “Gina’s portrayal of Jessica Pearson as one of television’s strongest, most successful busiensswomen has made a huge impact with fans. We can’t wait to explore this next chapter in the Suits legacy–and a brand new world for Jessica.”

Torres also said at the time that fans will get to see all facets of Jessica’s life in the new series.

“Fans of Suits have come to know Jessica as this confident kick-ass attorney who is always five steps ahead of everyone, but that’s only 5-10 percent of the entirety of this woman,” she said. “What is wonderful is that the audience will be treated to not just the greatest television expected of Suits but also peek into Jessica’s world.”
