Get your tissues ready! Sesame Street has shown us yet again that it’s basically the Beyoncé of children’s programming with this delightful song about black hair. As she sings and dances, this little girl tells us all the reasons she’s in love with her hair. It’s so cute, you can’t help but tear up a bit.

Though the video was released several years ago, it’s been making the rounds on social media the past few days as young black people share the post to celebrate their hair. For some, it’s a long journey to learn to love their hair, so it’s great to have this sweet song as a wonderful reminder.
