The 106-year-old woman who went viral after dancing with the Obamas is turning 110 and shared her birthday wish with reporters.

In 2016, when President Barack and first lady Michelle were still in the White House, Virginia McLaurin warmed our hearts with her adorable dance with the leaders. As she turned 110, McLaurin reflected on the amazing moment, CNN reports.

"I met a Black president and a Black wife. That's me," the centenarian said.

McLaurin met the famous couple after starting a social media campaign to do so, which included an official White House petition. At their meeting on February 22, 2016, the three unforgettably danced, chatted about life and posed for photos.

At the time, Michelle Obama said the elderly woman had more pep in her step than she had anticipated.

When the forever FLOTUS told her, "I wanna be like you when I grow up," McLaurin responded, "You can."

The Obamas may have left the White House, but they did not forget about their favorite dance partner, reports The Hill. Both of them sent McLaurin well wishes on her birthday via social media on Tuesday.

"I was so scared because I was raised in the South," McLaurin said recently about her experience. "I didn't know what to do. I didn't think I would ever, ever be able to get in the White House."

McLaurin, born in 1909, moved to Washington, DC, in 1941 where she has remained. In recent years, she's continued to meet with influential people. Last year, she met the Harlem Globetrotters. This year, she's hoping to add another notch to her belt when it comes to her favorite politicians.

"For my birthday, I wish I could meet the Mayor [of D.C. Muriel Bowser]," McLaurin said. "She adopted a girl, and I adopted a boy."

The mayor sent McLaurin a birthday greeting on Twitter and suggested she might be seeing the 110-year-old soon.
