Ava Duvernay's A Wrinkle in Time hits theatres March 9, but a special group of students got a first look at the highly anticipated film.

Duvernay asked the Walt Disney Company if they would arrange an advanced screening in her hometown Compton — a city that doesn't even have a movie theater. Disney came through and set-up a theater-like experience for the middle-schoolers to enjoy the film.

In the video Duvernay shared on Twitter, the students can be seen screaming with excitement. Duvernay also took the time to thank Mayor Aja Brown, for giving her a warm welcome and making the experience a reality.

The film has a star-studded lineup, and has recently sparked campaign movements. The hashtag #WrinkleinCompton began trending on Twitter. Supporters showed their gratitude for the screening, and the impact it will have on the Compton youth.
