Why Taye Diggs Says His Relationship With Apryl Jones Reminds Him Of His Mother

As reported by Atlanta Black Star, Diggs recalled the time where the couple were relaxing at Jones’ house and she began doing something only his mother had done to him.

“My mother used to sit in church with me and she used to play with my fingernails. Like, go and put her fingernails in,” the Hollywood star said.

“The way that my mom used to kiss me on my head, she did that,” he added.

Diggs also recalled a random text message he received from his psychic friend when he first started dating Jones. According to Diggs, the psychic told him that his late mother, Marcia Berry, sent Jones to him.

“I get a text from my psychic and literally it’s just a single line that says, ‘she’s the one,’” Diggs said.

“You’re dating someone right? I’m with your mother now, she sent her,” the psychic added according to Diggs.

The 52-year-old actor said “I’ve always prayed for someone that I can laugh with all the time.”

“I feel like life is supposed to be light, it’s not supposed to be heavy,”  he said.
