University of Maryland (Baltimore) police officer Eric Gaines was patrolling his normal area on March 1,2016. His patrol area has seen its share of homeless people so it was nothing new when he saw a homeless man sleeping near a bus stop. What Officer Gaines wasn’t expecting was an unidentified teen walking over to the homeless man, placing his hand upon the man’s foot and beginning to pray. After the teen finished his prayer he jumped on the bus his friends were holding for him. “I thought it was an amazing sight. I had to take a picture of it.
It was extremely powerful.” That picture that Gaines took and placed on his Facebook page has since gone viral resulting in over 32,000 shares.

Kudos to the unidentified teen for showing us that there is still hope in humanity. Hopefully we all can be more like him and show love to the less fortunate.
