Every so often, something happens that fills you with pure joy.
A group of kindergartners decided to give their school custodian, Mr. James, the best birthday surprise ever at Hickerson Elementary School in Tennessee, WTHR reports. Mr. James is deaf, and the group of kids sang "Happy Birthday" to him in sign language.
In the video posted by the school, the 60-year-old was shocked and touched.
According to the Tennessean, Mr. James has worked in area schools for over 20 years. He is known for encouraging students to be their best, for teaching them to sign and motivating them to be kind to one another.
We love it, and so did everyone else on Twitter.
I love this so so much. There wasn’t a day that went by in elementary school that Mr. James didn’t ask me how ball was going! Such a sweet, genuine guy. So proud to be a former Hickerson Hawk ???????? https://t.co/QFloB8x80p

Custodians are so overlooked for their commitment to our children. Good job, kids.
