Terrence Howard has given his opinion on his former Empire co-star Jussie Smollett‘s guilty verdict.
Smollett was found guilty for lying about an alleged 2019 hate crime in Chicago. According to EurWeb, Howard talked about Smollett on the Mark My Words radio show with host Mark Vargas, saying that he thought the situation was “interesting.”
“[I]t’s an uncomfortable question because anyone that’s aware of the show or my relationship with Jussie would know that Jussie [was], for six years…my son. He was my son that I had the most difficulty with on that show as far as the character world goes,” he said, referencing the storylines that his character Lucious Lyon had regarding his homophobia towards Smollett’s character Jamal Lyon.
