A sheriff in North Texas is facing scrutiny for how he handled an incident involving a few teenage girls who were allegedly caught vaping inside an establishment.
The incident occurred at an Urban Air Adventure Park in Mansfield, Texas, a city that is a part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and was recorded by a young adult who is related to two of the three teens involved.
Video shows the three teenage girls being confronted by an officer, who is seen placing them in handcuffs and saying they’re “under arrest” for trespassing. The situation was allegedly related to the teens vaping within the establishment’s ball pit.
The officer visibly grows agitated as the girls try giving their phones to bystanders to record the interaction. At one point, he shoves one of the teens, slamming her into the table and forcing her to sit down.
A Twitter thread regarding the incident has gained a fair amount of traction on social media.

He threw one of them against the wall as she’s hand cuffed. Grabbed my little sister and slamming her down and ripping her phone from her possession before proceeding to grab my little cousin for absolutely no reason, and slamming her and gripping her neck. 4/5 pic.twitter.com/7qenPHSRXh

As you can see they’re scared and feel mistreated for no reason. I want this to go viral bc this was absolutely unprofessional and illegal activity. No one should go through this especially 15 year olds pic.twitter.com/PoVkvdWnVy

Towards the end of the thread, we can see the girls’ injuries from the ordeal: a broken nail, skin abrasions and a sprained shoulder.
He broke my sisters nail off in the process, broke the skin on her friend elbow and put the handcuffs too tight and sprang my cousins shoulder for absolutely no reason! Cause her to go to the hospital. pic.twitter.com/fdRQlaQ7qP

Finally, the poster proceeds to tweet that the situation “was all caused because the manager at Urban Air Trampoline park claimed she saw the girls smoking, and allegedly has footage but hasn’t shown anything!”
“They also stole their money bc they didn’t get any sort of refund before being removed from the premises,” the user adds.
It’s worth adding that the officer in question, allegedly Casey #69083, was initially believed to have been affiliated with the Mansfield Police Department. He’s been identified as someone working with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
As the situation began gaining more and more traction, The Shade Room Teens reached out to the Urban Air Adventure Park in question to get its side of the story.
One staff member reportedly noted that, while the teens were indeed asked to leave the establishment, the officer was unnecessarily “handsy.” The staff member went on to allege that the facility had faced similar issues with the same officer on other occasions, The Shade Room Teens reports.
With all this information, people online have begun blasting the officer in question for his actions.

If Urban Air refuses to give you evidence about the vaping, huge suit for you guys. Even if they did have one, you absolutely cannot handle minors like this and he should have waited for parent or guardian to arrive-
