Actress and singer Teyana Taylor is firing back at a TikToker who posted a video revealing that Taylor allegedly used drugs after husband Iman Shumpert cheated on her.

On Monday, the singer shared a lengthy now-deleted post responding to the allegations and clarifying that the story is all “CAP.”

“Lawd Yall messy ass bloggers are worst [sic]than the national enquirer. The person who sent in this CAP ass TikTok story is a fool, the person who ‘re-enacted’ this CAP ass story is a fool (she better have her court coin ready), but the people who believed the CAP ass story are the biggest fools smh,” Taylor said. “Y’all allow a YT girl to pull some shit like this during Black History Month???”

The 31-year-old mother of two continued the post by stating that she has never hired or fired anyone, her family is her staff, and she does not partake in drug use.

“1. NO ONE have been “hired” or “fired” on my team. My whole staff is my family & all still currently work for me. 2. I DO NOT DO DRUGS, sh*t. I don’t even smoke weed & only drink occasionally. 4. If I overdosed, where’s the 911 call??” Taylor asked. “How would I be able perform in ATL perfectly in 2 days later? Y’all MF’s, including me, watch more than enough of euphoria to know good and got damn well I wouldn’t be able to do any of those things if I “overdosed” most importantly, where’s this proof or tea? Where’s the receipts????”

Taylor clarified that she can never be made to overdose on drugs by anyone, including her husband of six years, former NBA player Shumpert, and that there is a lot of clout chasing involved in the story.

“OH. 3. NOBODY AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOBODY CAN MAKE PETUNIA OVERDOSE on a damn thing. I’d kill @imanshumpert fine ass, put him in a nice suit & bury him my damn self before I EVER let him or ANYBODY to push me to drugs or take myself out,” Taylor said. “So LETS BE CLEAR she or whoever “sent this story in” ain’t spilling MY TEA cause ain’t mine to spill. “clout” seems to be the only true “CANDY” involved in this whole situation. Clout chasing ass do anything for views ass bloggers have to stop PREYING on black positive families that are thriving. Instead, start PRAYING for world peace & to bring an end to all the craziness going on out here.”

She concluded her post by stating that there are more critical things to concentrate on.

“Ppl are dying; police are still killing our brothers, our brothers are still killing our brothers, black women are still the most disrespected & unprotected women in the world,” Taylor said. “Kids are still get [sic] trafficked. We got bigger f**king fish to fry here y’all. Get focused, damn, smh. Now carry on. Nothing to see here.”

Fans of Taylor believed that a viral TikTok video—detailing a night where a singer allegedly overdosed after learning that her husband cheated on her—was based on her and her husband, Shumpert.

According to the TikToker, @Klatsch’s bio, all the stories that she reenacts are unconfirmed stories and parodies.

In the now-deleted video, Klatsch portrays a singer watching her husband on an episode of “Dancing with the Stars” and getting visibly upset over the attention he was receiving after allegedly cheating on the singer. The story, reportedly submitted by an anonymous celebrity assistant, reveals that the singer overdosed and could not perform at a show she was scheduled to perform. What caused fans to believe that the video was about Taylor was specific poses the TikToker did in the video and dates of when this alleged story took place.

There is no telling whether other celebrities will dispute these TikTok videos, but with over 400,000 followers and 13.3 million views, Klatsch is undoubtedly in the spotlight.
