The relationship between siblings is never the same from family to family. In this video from the incredible creators over at The Skin Deep, we meet Ashanti and Amari, a sister and brother pair with a 12-year age gap. Despite their generational differences, they discuss the evolution of the love they have for each other and share some moments of vulnerability when revealing some of their deepest truths.

The THE AND series is known for asking people the tough questions. Face to face, participants are forced to look each other in the eye and reveal some of their innermost thoughts about each other and themselves. As this video shows, even the people we are the closest to don’t always know everything about us but, having dialogue like this allows for more of those hidden truths to be revealed.

Amari and Ashanti exhibit the fact that no matter what their differences are, their love for each other is strong and will carry them on as they grow more and more.
