After deleting her profile pictures across social media platforms, Twitter started buzzing that Beyoncé was about to drop a new project, and they were right. According to Complex, the 40-year-old announced she’s releasing a new album titled Renaissance on July 29. Unsurprisingly, fans on Twitter lost their minds upon hearing the news.

“I know y’all some of y’all sleep but BEYONCÉ IS COMING,” one fan wrote, with a video urging viewers to wake up.

“BEEN WAITING TO USE THIS FOR YEARS #Beyonce,” another noted with a gif.

“WE DID IT Y’ALL. NEW BEYONCÉ ALBUM. AND A DATE?!?!?! GET UP!!!” one fan celebrated.

Another user is already planning what they’re going to wear while listening to the album for the first time.

“What I’m wearing to the Beyoncé Renaissance act 1 listening party,” they tweeted, along with an image of a woman wearing a pink dress and a Renaissance-era neck accessory.

One user noted Beyoncé dropped merchandise for the new album with no explanation of what it actually is, knowing that the Beyhive will buy it regardless.

“Not Beyoncé’s selling the merch without showing us what it looks like! Not there’s 4 options with no photos! Not she’s tryna bring back CD’s knowing damn well we ain’t got no players! Not ima buy a box anyway!” they said.

Beyoncé’s protegé Chlöe Bailey even tapped into the chatter.

“Beyoncé is coming bitches,” she wrote with heart-eye emoji.

Renaissance is slated to be a 16-song project launching with “act i,” suggesting that fans might be able to look forward to more projects following its initial release, Complex reports.

Beyoncé graced the cover of British Vogue, and along with publishing stunning imagery, editor-in-chief Edward Enninful also described the new album.

“Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth,” he wrote, according to Just Jared. “I want to get up and start throwing moves.”

He also described it as “music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.”

According to Complex, four box sets are available for preorder on Beyoncé’s official website. Each includes a different T-shirt and comes with a CD, a 28-page photo booklet and a mini poster.
