The 20-year-old was in Miami over the President's Day weekend with friends, taking a much-deserved break from her studies at Harvard University. She appeared to be laughing with pals while sipping on a bottle of Whispering Angel rosé, a popular drink of choice among celebrities. Dressed in a black one-piece bathing suit, the eldest of the Obama sisters was doing what every college student does on vacation: having fun.
Well, the British "news" site felt the need to highlight that Malia doesn't turn 21 until July 4, which makes her private actions ground for public scrutiny.

It didn't take long for the internet to make an example of the tabloid for its tacky reporting, highlighting that children of presidents aren't public figures.
Chelsea Clinton, who can especially relate to Malia, was one of the first to chastise the ridiculous excuse for clickbait.
Malia Obama is a private citizen. No part of her life should be anyone’s clickbait.

Others celebrated Malia's right to live her best life.

OMG Malia Obama is a human with political opinions and also enjoys wine.

Finally, many couldn't help but notice that for the first time in a while, all of Twitter joined forces to defend a somewhat controversial topic.

The Daily Mail also felt the need to publish a report on how Malia uses an anonymous Facebook profile to post details about her private life. This secret account includes the casual jabs at President Donald Trump, the same man who insinuated her father was born in Kenya, leading a hate-fueled birther movement several years back.
Despite the notion that members on the right were finding joy in Malia's exposé, conservative commentators argued that couldn't be further from the truth. A Monday piece by conservative media site Townhall concluded that "conservatives didn’t care about what Malia did – but they did care about how the Daily Mail treated her."
In other words, keep Malia Obama's name out your mouth. We'll sit here and take notes like this guy:
