The Game, a proud father of three, is not letting online critics direct their comments at his daughter. The rapper took her defense after she posted a TikTok video of herself lip-synching and dancing to Sexyy Red and Tay Keith’s viral hit “Pound Town.”

In the video, California, who goes by “Cali,” is joined by her father and her two brothers dancing along to the track. In the comments, several people criticized the song choice, the rapper’s parenting skills, as well as Cali being 12 years old.

She replied to the critics in her own comment section.

“Some of y’all are really pushing 60 but in my comments mad on a tuesday get a lifeeeeee, or retire,” she said, garnering a few supportive replies.

Online critics didn’t stop there, they doubled down when celebrity gossip page Hollywood Unlocked shared the video on its Instagram account.

“She my kid,” commented The Game. “1/2 y’all kids got snot frozen on the outside of they nose but you tryna weigh in on the parenthood of mine… My kid in private school wearing uniforms makin straight A’s.. we good over here.”

It isn’t the first time the rapper has come to his daughter’s defense against online critics. Late last year, Cali received hateful comments after she posted a photograph of herself dressed in a silver dress. She attended the Combs twins Sweet 16 party, which had a futuristic theme.

“I’m gonna say this once so people who aren’t her parents get it. My daughter is 12 & both of her parents are more than strict,” The Game commented under a post by The Shade Room.

The rapper referred to his ex partner and Cali’s mother, Tiffney Cambridge, who he referred to as an “amazing parent.” He explained that they checked in with each other to see if her outfit would be okay to wear at the party.

“I am her father and her protector and she is and will always be an amazing young woman,” he wrote. “I wish everyone happy holidays and thanks for your opinions on a child that belongs to US but we GOT THIS.”

The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is also a father to 16-year-old King Justice and 19-year-old Harlem Caron.
