Twitter is buzzing about a throwback photo of four childhood friends who showed off their swag while posing for a professional photo during the "lean wit it" era. Social media users were having flashbacks as they looked at the viral photo of the four friends who were clearly feeling themselves while snapping their fingers and doing the lean back, a move inspired by the famous "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" song.

It's also the oversized polos and baggy jeans that are bringing back memories for people who grew up in the early 2000s.

The throwback photo is prompting people to show more appreciation for the "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" song by Atlanta rap group Dem Franchize Boyz.

After seeing the nostalgic photo of the four friends, people are sharing similar pictures they took at the time.

At least one of the young men in the classic photo has responded on social media after going viral.

People would obviously love to see the classic photo in a museum.

The popular “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” song, which apparently inspired a nostalgic movement, earned nationwide recognition after it was released in 2006. According to USA Today, the song was nominated for a BET Hip Hop Award for People's Champ and a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap Dance Cut.
