In a Verzuz battle between The Lox and Dipset, it was Jadakiss who stole the Madison Square Garden show.

Emerging on the stage as part of The Lox in Tuesday's battle, the 46-year-old emcee put his legendary rap skills on full display and created quite a buzz on the internet.

“Are you kidding me? We got Grammys! These n***as don’t know what Grammys look like. They know what grams look like,” Jadakiss said in reference to the group's on-stage rival, Dipset.

The hashtag "Grammy" then started trending on Twitter as social media continued to buzz about the battle, Meaww reported

The artist's latest performance reaffirmed his position as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

Some people were set to crown Jadakiss as the mayor of New York City after the battle.

Jadakiss also mesmerized his fans in another Verzuz battle last year when he faced Fabulous. The 2020 showdown is still fresh on the mind of music fans.

The overwhelming majority of social media users described Jadakiss' latest performance as absolute domination.

The New York rapper and his crew is certainly receiving their flowers for keeping the culture intact.

According to Hip Hop DX, more than 645,000 viewers tuned in to the battle on Tuesday. Tyler, The Creator, who was among the viewers, created a buzz when he expressed his love for Jadakiss after the showdown.

“Pause I think I gotta crush on Jadakiss that n***a confidence and voice control is crazy and he aged well wheesh,” Tyler, The Creator wrote on Instagram.

After social media users also declared him the winner of his solo battle against Fabolous last June, Jadakiss is now the first rapper to win two Verzuz showdowns, Revolt reported
