Drake’s ability to cause a scene at the NBA Finals has proven to be both consistent and relentless.

In an extremely close matchup between the Golden State Warriors and The Toronto Raptors, the Raptors came out on top 118-109. But it was Drake’s shenanigans that gained more traction amongst NBA fans than the game’s highlights.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the Toronto native can be heard shouting “trash!” along with some other words as the power forward Draymond Green and the rest of the Warriors are leaving the court after Game 1 of the NBA finals.

Drake’s courtside behavior has been met with criticism on behalf of the NBA Commissioner Adam Silver who told Yahoo Sports, “He has the official designation 'ambassador' … and he's a global star, so it's a huge deal that he's so engaged with the team and loves the NBA so much.” said Silver, “Obviously, there's some lines that even ambassadors shouldn't cross.”

“The league office had conversations directly with Drake and his manager, and I think we ended up in a good place,” Silver added.

Prior to Game 1, Green told reporters he wasn’t worried about Drake’s presence at their games.

“Drake can’t shoot. Nor can he pass. You ever seen Drake play basketball? I really don’t care” The three-time NBA champion is reportedly said at a press conference last week.

The R&B singer has famously referenced Green on his song “Summer Sixteen” and even has Steph Curry’s number tatted on his upper arm, which he awkwardly covered up for the game. But a little bit of ink did not seem to stop him from throwing shade at both players on and off the sidelines.

In an Instagram post published shortly after the game, Champagne Papi posted video of his court-side antics, along with a picture of a piece of lint the caption, “Steph Curry hair lint for sale on my eBay right now!!! username: DraymondShouldntWear23”.

The Raptors and Warriors will face off again in Game 2 on Sunday.
