Six New York filmmakers were given the chance to showcase their talents during The New New York, an event created by Bulleit Frontier Whiskey in partnership with the Tribeca Festival and United Masters.

The six filmmakers, who are also all nominees of the Tribeca Festival First Time Filmmakers Award, came together at the Chelsea Factory. The filmmakers include Jennifer Esposito (Fresh Kills), Ben DiGiacomo (Bad Like Brooklyn Dancehall), Gabriella Moses (Boca Chica), Betsy Stechter (Gloria Gaynor), Jake Sumner (Ron Delsner Presents) and James Gallagher (Songs About F*****g).

The event also featured performances by UnitedMasters artists from New York City, including rapper/singer Brandon Blue, rapper Liana Banks, vocalist Tosh Alexander, and local DJs Turbs, Venuz X and Krystal Vega. Cocktails by New York mixologists Genesis Cruz, Natali Claros-Ospina, Andria Rodriguez, Brian Ipuz and Jimmy Colvil were also on hand.

The event also kicked off the 100-Hour Commitment, described as a “groundbreaking initiative dedicated to fostering growth and collaboration between emerging artists and renewed talent from UnitedMasters.” Talent were given an hour of guidance from mentors including Grammy award winning spoken word poet J. Ivy, performer/director Loel Leon, rapper Clintn Lord, activist/content creator Fifi Jamil and CMO of UnitedMasters Chaucer Barners.
