As if we don't already have enough reasons to love the Obamas, here is another one. The former president and first lady sent a handwritten letter to the survivors of the Parkland shooting in Florida, according to Mic.

The letter praised the students for being strong during such a difficult time.

"We wanted to let you know how inspired we have been by the resilience, resolve and solidarity that you have all shown in the wake of unspeakable tragedy," the Obamas wrote. "Not only have you supported and comforted each other, but you’ve helped awaken the conscience of the nation and challenged decision-makers to make the safety of our children the country’s top priority."

The Obamas applauded the students' protests for stricter gun laws and encouraged them to keep fighting for what they believe in.

"Throughout our history, young people like you have led the way in making America better. There may be setbacks; you may sometimes feel like progress is too slow in coming. But we have no doubt you are going to make an enormous difference in the days and years to come, and we will be there for you."

The note was written in response to the devastating mass shooting that took place February 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The mass shooting took the lives of 14 students and three staff members left several others injured. Since then, there have been other school shootings, including one this week that left two students injured.

Youth across the nation have come together to demand stronger gun laws. This Saturday, many people around the country plan to continue the fight by marching in the March for Our Lives.
