As you may know, we have at long last reached the climax of the are-Bey-and-Jay-having-a-tour-or-not rollercoaster, because Beyoncé has officially announced the European and North American tour dates for the previously rumored On The Run 2 (OTR II) tour!

If you remember correctly, Beyonce and JAY-Z have been channeling Bonnie and Clyde ever since they dropped their "'03 Bonnie and Clyde" single. With their first On The Run tour, they kept up the "lovers on the run" theme going through their tour video. And now the tale continues!

This time, though, rather than saluting American legends, the couple are paying homage to an African classic.

Popular BeyHive account Beyoncé Legion took to Twitter to point out the couple's cinematic inspiration behind the new tour's promo poster, is none other than Senegalese must-see Touki Bouki.

"#OTRII tour poster references "Touki Bouki," a 1973 Senegalese film about two lovers who steal money and clothing, then book passage to Paris to start new lives," tweeted the stan account. "It's considered an African cinema classic."

We dig it! And of course, the BeyHive does as well:

Some fans, however, expressed disappointment that there were no African stops on the tour:

Since Bey is the queen of surprises, we wouldn't totally count that out, though! It may happen in the future!
