It's been 20 years since the world lost two of the most prophetic, enigmatic forces in hip-hop due to tragic circumstances. The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur have already been immortalized in music, print and film, but the cable channel USA is putting their spin on the pair's intricate story. Unsolved: The Murders of Biggie and Tupac, a televised scripted drama, will feature the rise and fatal fall of the two rappers.

The show has enlisted Marc Rose to play the iconic West Coast rapper. Viewers may recognize him from his previous depiction of Tupac in the critical smash, Straight Outta Compton. Newcomer Wavyy Jonez will play Biggie Smalls. The series has also enlisted other A-list celebrities like Bokeem Woodbine and Josh Duhamel to co-star. The People v. O.J. Simpson's Anthony Hemingway will direct the series. So far, no details have been shared on the premiere date.
If this is anything like the other biopic scripted series, we're amped. Round up the Hennessey and enemies.
