One of Disney Channel’s most popular shows is coming to Disney+.
In an announcement made Wednesday on its Twitter page, Disney+ announced that the first and second seasons of the hit animated show The Proud Family are now available for streaming.

The show, which ran from 2001 to 2005, starred Kyla Pratt as the voice of Penny Proud, a 14-year old girl experiencing the typical challenges of a teenager in junior high.
Aside from Pratt, the show also started Jo Marie Payton, Paula Jai Parker, Tara Strong, Karen Malina White, Soleil Moon Frye, Alisa Reyes, Orlando Brown, Raquel Lee, Maria Canals-Barrera and Tommy Davidson, who played Penny’s father, Oscar.
Created by Bruce W. Smith, The Proud Family went on to become one of Disney’s most enduring animated series. Davidson first said that the series was getting a Disney+ reboot in August. In November, murmurs surrounding a revival grew louder when Payton shared that new episodes of the series will be arriving in February. While Disney has yet to confirm, fans of The Proud Family can now stream the first two seasons beloved classic. It is unknown if the later seasons will be available at some point.
