Every now and then, when I come across a black media figure that makes me want to pull my hair out, I think…"Wow, where's the racial draft when you need it?" If you're not familiar with the "racial draft," it was a popular–and completely hilarious–skit on the Dave Chappelle show where famous icons were traded amongst racial groups. Today, I would like to nominate Herman Cain. Do I really need to tell you why? Probably not.
In keeping with the theme of this blog, Steven Spielberg and Ang Lee are filmmakers I have great respect for and, based on their past work, would certainly be great assets and worth trading Cain for. Now I realize, it's not exactly a fair trade but who said anything about being "fair"?
Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one with a list. Who would you like to trade and for which filmmaker?
