The internet was swooning during Sunday's classic Verzuz event thanks to the style and well-kept gray beard of the legendary Ron Isley.

The longtime hitmaker took the stage with his brother, Ernie Isley, and Earth, Wind and Fire as well as host Steve Harvey, and the two iconic bands took turns playing through some of their greatest hits on Easter Sunday.

“Soul music is just different. Everyone loves a good song, and we’re sitting here with two groups who took the time to write ‘lyrically sound’ lyrics,” Harvey said during the broadcast.

"These groups made me. This music shaped me," he added.

But the focus for much of the internet was on Isley, his beard, his coat and his voice.

There were an endless amount of jokes, both at the thirst emanating through the internet and at the performance itself.

Celebrities were some of the loudest in their praise of Ron's bearded look.

Even though Ron is 79 years old, that did not stop people of all ages from shooting their shot.

There were hundreds more tweets about Ron's full-length fur coat and his decorated career in music, which spans decades and includes 66 platinum records.

During the event, two bands announced that they would be releasing a new single together featuring Snoop Dogg.

This was the first event in the Verzuz series to stream on Triller, which recently acquired the concert platform in a deal with creators Swizz Beatz and Timbaland.

The next Verzuz will take place on April 20, featuring Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man and his longtime partner Redman.
