The View audience loved Rachel Lindsay during her co-hosting run in place of Sunny Hostin.

Lindsay’s guest hosting position has earned her a spot of love with the fans, who have taken to Twitter to say how much they want Lindsay to have a permanent spot. Some are even speculating if The View is auditioning Lindsay to see how well she does with the audience.

“Having Rachel Lindsay on [T]he View could be the only reason I tune in for more than 3 seconds,” wrote a commenter.

Others wrote about their happiness with Lindsay, with one writing, “I love Rachel Lindsay on #TheView.” Another similarly wrote, “I am loving Rachel Lindsay on #TheView.”

“Rachel Lindsay should be a permanent co-host of The View,” wrote another viewer, with another adding, “Rachel Lindsay was such a [breath] of fresh air and seems such a natural fit for the legal chair on #TheView.” Another wrote, “Glad Rachel Lindsay [is] on The View.”

“@TheRachLindsay Love Rachel Lindsay, she should be a regular on The View,” wrote another viewer. Another responded, writing, “I agree 100%. She brings a freshness to the table. I like the Law and Order series because every 3-5 years they refresh a cast member(s). I always hate to see the old cast member(s) go but it gives the show a new perspective and new direction. The View should consider this.”

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been praised by The View audience. She promoted her book, Miss Me With That on the show in 2022, and in 2021, she served as a guest cohost. Viewers at the time also showcased their love for Lindsay’s hosting skills.

Another viewer wrote, “Loved Rachel Lindsay on The View today. I hope to see more of her,” while another hoped Lindsay would become a part of the show permanently.

“Rachel Lindsay was a cohost on The View today so I actually enjoyed it,” they wrote. “I’ve been saying for a while that I would love to see her as a permanent host on a talk show.”

“It low key shocks me none of the Bachelorettes have become a panelist on The View,” wrote another viewer. “Rachel Lindsay would be amazing on The View.”
