A trend on TikTok where users reenact getting arrested by cops in an overtly sexual manner has gone viral, predominantly within the white community.
The trend began with TikToker Gage Bills, who posted a clip of himself cosplaying the character JJ from Netflix’s hit show, Outer Banks.

Bills has 2.6 million followers and his dramatic reenactment has since garnered over 23 million views, allowing for other TikToker's to quickly hop on the trend.
Most copycat videos also feature men resisting arrest while they turn to the camera and whisper "I love you," or suggesting it, assuming that a girlfriend is on the other end filming the hypothetical detainment.
