The second installment of The New Stereotype was inspired by Travel Noire and aims to provide insight on the cultural awareness and travels of blacks in America. The second location was Grand Central Terminal, which represents the epitome of classic travel in and out of NYC. In addition to pictures, this particular installment includes video. In the video, participants introduce themselves and, through a montage, further share the goal of the project from their individual perspectives. The New Stereotype: The Reclaim — Reclaiming the spirit of culture and travel and celebration of black resiliency.
Since the first installment, others have decided to create their own versions highlighting men in their communities. The first shoot inspired a shoot in Chicago as well as London.
