We know Idris Elba is fine as hell and a great actor, but did you know he’s an experienced DJ? And that's not all: The Telegraph reports Elba had the dance floor packed during Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding reception.

The bride and groom grooved to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” for their first dance.

And when it was time for the new Duchess to hit the dance floor with her girls, Elba played Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much” because you can’t have a black wedding without some Luther.

Vanity Fair reports Elba spun soul classics all night, alongside fellow wedding DJ Sam Totolee.

While Elba kept the mood lit, host James Cordon reportedly organized a dance off that featured Princes Charles, William and Harry as well as Meghan and her mom, Doria Ragland.

And if that doesn't sound dope enough, there was also a beer pong tournament going on. Serena Williams reportedly continued her dominance on the court in that arena.

The royal wedding might be Elba’s most high-profile gig to date, but DJing has been his side hustle for years. He used to spin under the alias DJ Big Driis or Big Driis the Londoner, reported US Weekly. He also co-produced the intro to Jay-Z’s American Gangster album.

“I’m definitely what you might describe as a ‘vet DJ’,” Elba told Dancing Astronaut in 2017. “I started when I was 14, and I had two years in my life where DJing is all I did.”
