We’re all familiar with the father-daughter and mother-son dances at weddings, but this father-son dance is making folks across social media tear up.
Instagram user @BankofNichols and his dad put their spin on the tradition, and it has the internet all in its feelings.
The groom addresses himself as Mr. Nichols on his private Instagram. Celebrity photographer Stanley Babb shared footage from the special day, including a video of the beautiful ceremony between Mr. Nichols and his wife.
The groom was not short on emotions as they exchanged vows. He cried the entire duration of her walk down the aisle. They both said their “I do’s” with tears falling from their eyes before walking down the aisle as husband and wife. Babb also captured a moment of pure love between the groom and his father during the wedding reception.

To the tune of Luther Vandross’ “Dance With My Father,” the father and son embraced each other on the dance floor.
The guests looked on lovingly as the pair danced to the sentimental song. Mr. Nichols and his father then opened their tuxedo jackets to reveal pictures. Stitched into their jackets, they both had photos honoring their mom/wife, who had passed away.

The camera then cut to the pair dancing joyfully as they celebrated the next step in Mr. Nichols’ life as a husband.
Followers on Babb’s account couldn’t get enough of the father-son duo and their love for each other.
One person wrote, “Mama couldn’t dance with her baby, so dad stepped in! So beautiful.”
