Tichina Arnold's daughter, Alijah Kai, recently performed Tevin Campbell’s hit song “Can We Talk” and effortlessly hit every note. The song, which was released back in 1993, journeys through the singer building up the confidence to approach a woman and express his interest.

According to Girls United, Kai was featured on celebrity vocal teacher and Los Angeles-based musician Stevie Mackey’s famous Taco Tuesday YouTube series.

Kai, who is no stranger to showing off her vocal skills alongside her mother, has been noticed online and has gained a following for some of the duo's car collaborations.

Recently, she sang to Grammy-nominated Jazmine Sullivan's "Need U Bad."

Mackey has also featured Brandy Norwood's daughter Sy'rai Smith on his Taco Tuesday YouTube series. Smith performed one of her mother's fan-favorite songs, "Almost Doesn't Count," from Norwood's highest-selling album, Never Say Never. Other artists that have popped up on the show to flex their vocal skills include Avery Wilson and Amber Riley.

Arnold, who has been singing on screen since her Little Shop of Horrors days, has apparently passed her vocal skills on to her daughter Kai.
