A TikToker going by @bdtrelilbrother has put Justin Laboy, a well-known social media personality, on blast by accusing him of content theft.

The subject came to public attention earlier this week after the user, who also goes by Raymonte, uploaded a video outlining his case.

The video, which appears to have been wiped from the TikToker’s account, is in reference to a post Raymonte uploaded back on Sept. 9, in which he declares, “I love me a sneaky b***h that play the delusional role very well. He thinking you at home miserable, sad and lurking on his page and the whole time you’re playing passenger princess every other night with a man.”

In his now-deleted upload, which was obtained and reposted by The Neighborhood Talk, Raymonte shows that Justin Laboy made a very similar upload just the other day and proceeds to blast him.

“For him to take what I said word for word, bar for bar, and put it on his Instagram [is unacceptable],” he said, alleging that Justin Laboy is taking his content and trying to front as though he’s “original, funny [and] witty.”

“If you already verified and you have your check or whatever, don’t take from me. Don’t take what I say. You saw it was a viral moment and be like, ‘Oh, he did it small. I can do it bigger.’ Leave me alone!” Raymonte continues.

He went on to further speak on the issue through Twitter.

“Justin la boy stealing my TikTok making it a meme is making me so mad cause it’s going viral and I have to go way harder being a fully black gay male to get that same recognition and some biracial straight corny sassy overly zesty cheap Imitation of drake says it and it’s gold??” he wrote.

“It’s not even about going viral it’s the opportunities that come with that!!! It only happens to us fully black creators,” he added in a follow-up tweet. “When it’s my turn I’ll never be like that on my brother I’m gone change the narrative for us remember I SAID THIS.”

Raymonte’s allegations soon began spreading like wildfire, and — once his now-deleted TikTok was obtained and reposted by The Neighborhood Talk — some people shared that they didn’t think that Justin Laboy plagiarizing content was anything new.

“I didn’t know people thought he was actually writing that stuff himself. Lmao I be seeing 20 different pages with the same quotes,” one commentor wrote.

“Literally all of [Justin Laboy’s] post[s] are stolen,” another user added beneath the same upload. “I be seeing it on Twitter first then he have it on his page the next minute.”

At this point, we should note that Raymonte also alleged that he’s been “Letting [Justin’s] ass slide” when it comes to stealing his content, though that approach now appears to be coming to an end.

Justin Laboy doesn’t appear to have publicly responded to Raymonte’s allegation.
