A TikToker details how he discovered a Black Sim chained up and kept in his now ex's virtual basement when he played The Sims on his computer.

In a now-viral video, Blake Babin confirmed that the story is, in fact, a true story about an ex from five years ago and that after discovering the Sims, he broke up with him.

In a separate TikTok, Babin mentions that his ex was a racist, misogynist, and cheater.

"He would always have his phone [sic] faced down; I'm shocked I was even allowed on the computer, just because of how secretive he was. Overall, he just needed to go, and he went—I got rid of him," Babin said. "So I was on his computer—I'm at his apartment, he's on the other side of the apartment, I think he was making food. I'm going through his game to see what's going on, and I get to the basement—and 'I'm like, what is this, what is going on down here? He's flustered I guess, he comes over and he's like, 'Oh that's nothing.' He could see that I was weirded out by it so I guess he started to get worried. Maybe it's just normal for him. I guess it was."

Babin then described how he went through his ex's computer and found the Black Sims chained up in the basement and his ex's reaction to being caught.

"Let me tell you about the time that I saw my ex's Sims account and which he had Black Sims chained up in the basement of his fake virtual house," Babin said. "So I'm not going to drop his name, and I know people have been asking. But that's not information that I am making public. I am not looking for a lawsuit. But the relationship did end not long after this happened. He was racist; he was kind of like a misogynist. He was a cheater."

Babin also shared how his ex would point out Black people in public, which is now seen as a red flag by the TikToker.

"There were times when he would just like—point out Black individuals on the street, which is obviously weird behavior. And it makes a lot of sense now, knowing like who he is and what he was about," Babin said. "He took the computer from me, he made light of it, he closed it, and just moved on really quickly."

Babin said the Sims in the basement were enslaved and recalled chains but asked other fans to confirm if chains were possible in the Sims universe. Babin added that his ex is a "really bad person," noting that he does not support that behavior at all.

While commenters questioned Babin's judgment in dating someone like this in the first place, others have defended him and said it is difficult to leave someone like Babin's ex.
