The Los Angeles Police Department reported a break-in last week at Tina Knowles Lawson’s home, with a large amount of money and jewelry stolen from the estate.

According to TMZ, law enforcement investigated the incident and confirmed $1 million in cash and jewelry was stolen after the suspects reportedly removed a safe containing those items from the home.

LAPD said the burglary happened Wednesday when a member of Lawson’s team stopped by the home and noticed the vault was missing from the residence.

The incident report stated no one was home at the time of the burglary.

According to reports, the fashion designer was out of town, and it’s unclear how the robbers entered the home.

Law enforcement said the case is ongoing. They’re searching for surveillance footage of the property and surrounding areas and interviewing the 69-year-old’s neighbors.

The news has since circulated on social media. TMZ tweeted a post to its account, and users shared their thoughts on the incident.

“Definitely an inside job. A safe whereabouts are only known by certain individuals,” one user said.

“Keep folks out your house and keep Your mouth shut. No one would know a thing about what’s inside or where you hide your most precious items,” another user wrote.

“It’s someone she knows. How do they know where the safe is and would take the time to loosen it w/the alarm(I’m sure she and her husband have) going off? It’s someone who likely knows how to disarm it,” a third user tweeted.

Some fans online blamed YouTube blogger Tasha K for burglarizing Knowles-Lawson’s home. On Sunday, the 41-year-old took to the social platform and denied claims she was behind the incident.

“I know damn well y’all are not accusing me of Robbing #TinaKnowles home for over 1 million in cash? it wasn’t me!! I was with my husband all night! He is my witness!” she tweeted with crying emojis.
