A TikTok video of a toddler trying cotton candy for the first time is going viral after her genuine reaction was too cute.

Nineteen-month-old Zola Cotton and her mother Emma Cotton were at the Texas Rangers Family Day at Globe Life Field to watch her father, pitcher Jharel Cotton.

When Emma handed the toddler a ball of cotton candy, she initially cuddled the pink confection up to her chin and cheek with a smile as her mother laughed in the background.

“Eat it,” Emma says off-screen. “Look. It is soft, isn’t it?”

Zola then takes a bite of the cotton candy, intrigued at first by the texture, but then her taste buds kick in.

This baseball season is Jharel’s first MLB appearance since 2017, and the 29-year-old noted that having his wife and daughter around helped tremendously with his confidence.

“Her expression was priceless,” Jharel said about Zola, MLB.com reports. “Her expression, everything, it's infectious. It's amazing. When they come to the game, it's like a different energy that they bring so much. Having them around, I love it.”

Some people commented on the video, which has garnered over 5.6 million views and 1.2 million likes, noting how pure Zola’s reaction was to trying something new.

“This video gave me so much serotonin,” one user wrote.

“This is a pure representation of the innocence of a child,” someone commented.

Jharel also mentioned that he wants to be the best possible example he can be for his little girl, who makes appearances on the family’s TikTok page, @meetthecottons.

“I’ve got another human being I’ve got to take care of,” Jharel said. “I’ve got to take care of her, and I want to give her the world. I want to be a role model for her, as well. So just having that in my head like it’s making me want it more and more.”
