A viral video shows Minnesota cops getting kicked and cursed by children while serving a warrant for a murder suspect.

The troubling video, recorded last week, shows children punching the legs of a police officer, some of whom are in diapers. Adults can be heard in the background hurling racial insults at St Paul, Minnesota officers.

“Shut up, b*tch!” said one child, who appeared to be only a few years old, who stood in the street with an even younger child in a diaper behind him.

Police were at a house to serve a search warrant in the hunt for a murder suspect when a group of young children encountered them.

Before Alpha News shared the posted the video on their YouTube account, Journalist Sheila Qualls wrote about the video in a column for publication.

Qualls compared the children’s behavior to the behavior of rioters after the death of George Floyd, a man killed by Minnesota officers in 2020.

“They cussed, berated and struck police officers with their fists. This video is disgraceful. Heartbreaking,” Qualls wrote. “It is unsettling to law enforcement officers who encounter this behavior daily. It should be frightening to all of us. It should be embarrassing to leaders who have failed to lead a community toward virtue and morality.”

“We can do better, and we must. Let’s stop playing politics with our children’s lives. I do not believe this is what civil rights leaders wanted for the future of the Black community. These children and our country deserve better,” Qualls continued.

With riots and protests in the summer of 2020, crime began to increase.

A total of 185 people were murdered in Minnesota in 2019 out of 117 recorded deaths, according to the Uniform Crime Report
