When TV host, Tomi Lahren voiced her pro-choice stance on legalized abortion, it sent her conservative counterparts into a tizzy. "I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say I'm for limited government, but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies," Lahren recently said on The View. The viewpoint, which runs in direct opposition to the conservative values that Lahren's audience have come to know her for, resulted in a one-week suspension from her post atThe Blaze.
Lahren is no stranger to controversy. The conservative commentator, who emerged as a popular voice of the right wing conservative movement, is known for her Bill O'Reilly-esque rants in opposition of virtually everything non-cis white. Her pro-choice stance represents the contradiction that many white women face as they negotiate their support for an administration that seeks to suppress their rights.
The irony of the fallout was not lost on #BlackTwitter, who came through like only they can.

It's all fun and games until you start threatening white women's rights.

Never forget.
#TomiLahren suspended from The Blaze after sharing she's #prochoice – but NOT after she called #BLM the new KKK or saying "rape-ugees"

The law of reciprocity is undefeated in these streets.
Milo Yiannopoulos got fired. Tomi Lahren got suspended. Trump is at 37% disapproval. Your face when you realize they did it to themselves. pic.twitter.com/BFmepkg7nX

In a contentious political environment where access to healthcare is being limited, civil rights are being challenged, and the threat of global chaos is just one tweet away, #BlackTwitter is out here taking their wins where they can. Tomi Lahren is the definition of non-intersectionality and the backlash from her right-wing conservative audience is the perfect example of the party's contradictory "values."
