Tory Lanez appears to be taking shots at Megan Thee Stallion and her boyfriend Pardi in his newest song, “CAP.” Lanez, who has been accused of shooting Megan in 2020, seems to be alluding to the incident with some cryptic lines in his new track.
“Said the beef is over, that was motherf**king cap,’” the Canadian artist raps in his latest single.
The song, which leaked on Thursday before the official release, also appears to be insulting Pardi without explicitly mentioning him by name.
“He a bird, he probably in the ex four/ Plus the only party that we know is next door,” Lanez raps, subtly referring to Pardi and Canadian rapper, PARTYNEXTDOOR. “You know these ni**as talkin’/ Know these p***y boys a joke/ You got a Goyard on your birthday ’cause that ni**a broke.”
The rapper also referred to Cardi B in the song, saying, “He would say somethin’ back, but he need Cardi B for that.”
Lanez later went to Twitter to clarify that he’s not intending to take shots at Cardi.
“Before my new song #CAP even drops TONIGHT … there’s one thing in the song I don’t want no one getting confused … I am not dissing @OffsetYRN or @iamcardib That’s family,” he wrote.

As Blavity previously reported, Lanez was standing on the step board of the SUV when he allegedly started firing shots at Megan after a Hollywood Hills house party around 4:30 a.m. back in July 2020. Megan said she sustained a gunshot injury to her foot.
Lanez is now waiting for trial in the assault case, AllHipHop.com reports.
