Tory Lanez was handcuffed and taken into custody while in court for the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, Complex reports.
According to reporter Nancy Dillion, Judge David Herriford heard close to an hour of arguments in court on Tuesday.
Herriford referenced some of Lanez tweets and social media activity, saying that they appeared to be “clear messages” directed at Megan.
The “Talk To Me” rapper also dropped a song seemingly mentioning Megan and her boyfriend Pardi, as Blavity previously reported.
During the hearing, the judge added a new condition to the rapper’s release, telling him “not to mention the complaining witness in this case in any social media.”
Herriford ruled that Lanez violated a protective order and personal no contact order and a new bail was set at $350,000, Complex reports.
A trial date is scheduled for Sept. 14.
Meg alleges that Lanez fired shots at her after the two attended a Hollywood Hills house party together in June 2020. The “Hot Girl S**t” rapper says she sustained a gunshot injury and shared images of the wound on social media.
